Food That Boosts Your Fertility

admin      May 18, 2023

Conceiving a baby can be the most special feeling for every couple. Getting pregnant, and giving birth is a life-changing experience, but at the same time, it calls for extreme care and cautiousness. The mother and child will need equal importance and care both, before and after pregnancy.

‍While trying to conceive, the mother must always maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep track of her dietary plan. During this process, some foods may help speed your pregnancy, and some may not be advisable. The mother must always be conscious of what she consumes.

The following are a few food items that may help boost your fertility:

Sunflower seeds
Berries

Beans and lentils
Asparagus
Walnuts and dry fruits
Quinoa
Full-fat dairy products
Egg yolks
Liver
Salmon
Apart from consuming the right food and eating healthy while trying to conceive, the best way to stay safe is to avoid certain food items that may work the opposite way.

The following are food items that are better to avoid for the benefit of your fertility:

High mercury fish
Low-fat dairy products
Smoked seafood
Unpasteurized soft cheese
Caffeine
Trans fat
Excess alcohol
Soda
Processed meat
Raw meat
Please do keep in mind, these dietary changes do not help if you have any serious conditions of infertility, it will neither remove blockage nor open up tubes. Also, no fertility diet will suddenly increase your chances of conceiving, but a nutritious and balanced diet can definitely help you and your partner healthwise.

Some other tips that might help you boost your fertility are as follows:

Avoid stress-eating or binging junk food
Maintain a healthy wholesome diet, including all the right nutrients and proteins your body requires
Exercise regularly, but don't go overboard
Make sure your BMI is right
Get enough hours of sleep
Meditate to mind relaxed
Healthy lifestyle changes
