Education A native Texan, Dr. Kristiansen began her pursuit of becoming a Reproductive Endocrinologist Infertility (REI) specialist when she received her medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas. Training Next, she completed a residency program in Obstetrics & Gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She decided to continue her training with a fellowship in the division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Board Certification Dr. Kristiansen is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist Infertility (REI) specialist. This means she has undergone years of specialized study and training in fertility and has passed the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology's written and oral exams. High IVF Success Rates Having completed more than 1000 IVF cycles with pregnancy rates that compare well nationally, the Houston Fertility Center is now utilized by several other Reproductive Endocrinologists in the Sugarland and greater Houston areas. Recognition in the Field Dr. Kristiansen is well published, participates in many speaking engagements relating to infertility, and is frequently used as a resource by the news media. Flexible Hours for Appointments Recognizing most couples work and therefore have demanding schedules, she offers early morning appointments (7:00 am) for patients undergoing treatment. This allows most patients to be at work anywhere in Houston by 9:00 am.
